He is a graduate of Newcastle college of Art and Technology, Newcastle Upon Tyne. He has had a fascination with abstract art, having dabbled with watercolour in the past, he has recently been drawn in the acrylic flow art as his main medium. **Carrie Leigh Dickey - Raw & Organic Paintings Inspired by Nature https://www.artfolios.shop/carrie-leigh-dickey-gallery Carrie Leigh Dickey, Owner, Visionary, and Founding Artist, is a trained oil painter (BA in studio art with a concentration in oil painting from Salem College), yet she mainly works in acrylics. She likes experimenting in order to make acrylic paint function as oil paint. Subsequently, she loves to create marks with anything that is not a paint brush including her fingers, old credit cards, and aluminum foil. She can often be found removing paint from a canvas with a garden hose. Carrie is inspired by nature and young children’s raw and organic approach to art. She is married to Luke, and they have a lovely daughter named Luscinda. “I can't begin to express to you how thrilled I am with your painting! That will always be a treasure to me, and I can't wait to hang it at home. It is so rich in symbolism which makes it incredibly meaningful to me! You are a true wonder.”—Owner of one of Carrie Leigh Dickey's artworks **Dean Roland Johnson - Realistic Floral Paintings https://www.artfolios.shop/dean-roland-johnson-gallery Dean Roland Johnson, Founding Artist, has been painting with passion since childhood. While his professional journey has taken many paths, the common thread has been all things Visual. He is particularly fascinated by flowers. They come in innumerable shapes, sizes and colors and present themselves as beautiful opportunities for visual expression. As Monet has said: "I must have flowers, always and always.” Dean spent his early years in the Midwest where he graduated from Cornell College, IA. After receiving an MFA from Pratt Institute (NYC) he taught art in college for several years. During that time he exhibited and received several museum purchase awards. That period was followed by developing and marketing commercial textiles and then later owning and managing an award winning country inn. He recently moved to Winston-Salem with his wife, Jean Marie, and now commits his undivided attention to painting. ____
