Andrew Stenhouse, Emerging Artist, has a fascination with abstract art! Having dabbled with watercolor in the past, he has recently been drawn to acrylic flow as his main medium.

"The Strength Within" Andrew’s Art: Bold use of color and strong sense of line energize these works.

Emily Clare's, Founding Artist, imagination is sparked by nature's beauty and mystique. She abstracts parts of plants to create a visual statement that transcends the original.

"The Strength Within" Emily’s Art: Subtle layers of botanical derived inks which are woven to tell a story.

Joan Rutledge, Artfolios Artist, uses multiple techniques in creating her works: digital image manipulation, printing, drawing, quilting on fabric, thread work, and felting provide texture to each piece.

"The Strength Within" Joan’s Art: 2-D images which are power packed through quilting—adding depth and dimension.

Marsha Thrift Marion, Artfolios Artist, considers her somewhat impressionistic style to be “painterly realism”—often with a fascinating touch of abstraction to provide a little mystery for the viewer.

"The Strength Within" Marsha’s Art: Texture, color, and a powerful sense of light/dark is dominant.

Melrose Tapscott Buchanan, Founding Artist, chooses to be a careful observer of the world around her. Her passion for sketching from life, dreams, and memories drives her work.

"The Strength Within" Melrose’s Art: Complexity of perception based on seeing, believing, meditating, and exploring.

Robyn Churn, Artfolios Artist, is a lover of very deep, vibrant color—and lots of it! She especially loves to inject color where it is "not supposed to be" and to let colors blend and bleed into each other.

"The Strength Within" Robyn’s Art: Freedom, expression, and whimsy govern each piece.

Virginia Shepley, Artfolios Artist, is an abstract painter and jewelry maker using biomorphic forms as a visual representation of fundamental spiritual ideas. her work explores the connections and borderlines between physical reality and the invisible.

"The Strength Within" Virginia’s Art: Abstract formations and representational motifs reconcile the dualities of life.
