About the Artwork: This was a garden demo for a class I was teaching. I particularly chose this view of the garden because with all the irises there, one stood out quite obviously as the focal point. It was larger and taller than the others and provided the place of highest contrast, light to dark, and also the sharpest edges to draw the eye to it.
