About the Artwork: My art is uniquely feminine, and a direct response to what is felt, rather than seen, in a woman’s life. Its inspiration comes from nature and its bountiful resources. I work intuitively with botanicals, and by observing nature’s forms, I explore ways to use its shapes, colors and textures to create a new reality and memorialize the original. So doing, I capture the cycle of life through the eyes of a woman. I’ve named the world that I’ve created The Femiverse.
