Artist: Pat Spainhour
About the Artwork: This is an abstract painting created by printing packaging air pillows in a radial format. The process requires multiple encaustic monoprints. It just happens to look like lipstick kisses on paper and it becomes a comment on wearing facial masks. The color scheme is monochromatic red with a pale green accent.
Media: Pigment, beeswax, Japanese paper, cold wax finish
Dimensions: 20” wide by 20” tall by 1.5" deep
Framed: Mounted on cradled wood panel, finished sides, ready to hang
