A R T W I T H H E A R T: I am the Owner and Visionary of Artfolios. Artfolios is my family's passion project. Through it, we support our artists with our time and talents. The net proceeds of the sells my artworks listed "Art with Heart" will be gifted back to Artfolios to assist in our mission: to showcase a curated collection of artists and art as diverse as our community through this online gallery, exhibits, and collaborations within our community.

Artist: Carrie Leigh Dickey

About the Artwork: Two Eastern blue birds on a lilac branch symbolize new life, hope, happiness, rebirth, and a fresh start. To create the 3-D effect, I built layers of canvas and paint on top of the stretched canvas. The flowers, leaves, branches, and birds are rounded and shaped. Imagine a Roman frieze.

Media: Acrylic and canvas on a stretched canvas

Dimensions: 48" wide by 36” tall

Framed: Yes
