About the Artwork: This is the fourth and final painting in the series based on the mantra, loka samastha sukhino bhavantu, which translates from Sanskrit, "May all beings everywhere be happy and free." The word bhavanthu means, “may it be so”. These paintings are a prayer for the space of our own hearts to be a sacred one through which love can flow, through right action, to all beings everywhere. As a being of the water, earth and air, the dragonfly was chosen for this painting is a symbol of evolution and emergence.
