The Children’s Champion Award, an artwork by Ann Bonner, was presented to Joe Crocker at the Raising Every Child Benefit Luncheon.
"With this piece I wanted to represent Mr. Crocker’s commitment to improving the education of all children and his willingness to stand in the gap while holding together the necessary components to complete such a monumental task. In order for work of this magnitude to be accomplished, one must tear oneself apart giving all for the betterment of others. Additionally, one must have sincere care of, openness to, and heart for others.
