About the Artwork: "Interplay" is part of Diana’s landscape series, A Sense of Wonder. Landscapes provide a way into a state of seeing, stillness, and wonder. I am crazy for the horizon and curious about spaces. For me, this place presented a mood, shapes, and movements that I saw and almost felt. Each photograph captures a memory of place. It considers the experience of looking. It also reflects a time when an instantaneous recognition of beauty stopped me in my tracks, slowed me down sometimes for over two hours to capture the ineffable sense of invitation that first drew me into the landscape. Location: Tasmania, Australia.
