About the Artwork: In "Poppies Near and Far," I wanted to draw you into the rolling fields of Dogwood Farms, where those vibrant red poppies really stand out against the winding green path. By playing with the contrast between the bold blooms right in front of us and the softer, hazy distance, I tried to create a sense of depth and quiet calm. It's my invitation to pause for a second and just take in the fleeting beauty of a landscape that feels like home.
